STICKY NOTES:

  • A few things I’m adding to this site soon: Social icons with links, a page for upcoming content and content ideas, a resources page, a feedback page, a contact page, website directory pages, Twitter directory pages, Facebook groups/pages directory pages. Yeah… I’ve got a lot of page building to do.
  • Some upcoming layout changes: Some parts of the home page are showing on the blog section, and single post pages. I will (when time permits) be removing some of these parts from those sections as I feel that not everything on the home page needs to be available site-wide. That’s what the home page is for.

UPDATES FOR MARCH 2023:

2023-03-21-TUE @ 9:30 AM CST – I’ve just posted details on my blog where you can download a free copy of the Alabama Hunting & Fishing Digest 2022-2023. This free eRegulations publication provides you with license and other information needed for hunting and fishing in Alabama.

2023-03-17-FRI @ 4:42 AM CST – New post The 10 Largest Lakes In Alabama is on the blog. Also new pages are on the blog in the photo gallery. There will not be any new photos added to the gallery for at least a week as of this update as I ran out of time to build new pages this week. I hope to get back on that project as soon as possible after the weekend. Over the weekend I’ll be adding new scheduling to my @mudpiix handle on Twitter.

2023-03-08-WED @ 4:08 AM CST – My West Point Lake Photography Day Trip 001 Page 003 is now on the blog. If you haven’t been following these gallery postings, you can start here at the beginning of this gallery to see all photos posted.

UPDATES FOR FEBRUARY 2023:

2023-02-26-SUN @ 4:12 AM CST – A new Gallery page is on site. This page will serve as the main entrance to all of my photo and art galleries.

2023-02-25-SAT @ 11:17 PM CST – I have a new Fuel Tracker page on site. This page is primarily for my own use. Occasionally I am tracking the rise and fall of fuel cost in Southeast Alabama… but not for any particular reason… just something to do.

2023-02-25-SAT @ 10:38 PM CST – I finally have a Contact page available.

2023-02-18-SAT @ 8:58 PM CST – My new Arsenal page has been added to my website. I will use this page to list all of the apps, software, and services online that I use to stay productive with my projects. At this point, the page is in early stages of development. Updates will come over time.

2023-02-15-WED @ 9:40 PM CST – My new John O’Callaghan Subculture 2020 Year Mix post is on the blog. This is the first post in my new music recommendations blog post series. In 2023 I’m trying to listen to more music, and hopefully this series will help me to post to my blog more often.

2023-01-29-SUN @ 5:05 AM CST – My new Resources is now on site. This page is where I will post links to my primary sources for content curation, as well as any other content that I think may be resourceful.

2023-01-29-SUN @ 3:20 AM CST – My Following On Twitter In ANDROID post is up on the blog. The listings on this page are going to be from accounts on Twitter that pertain to Android OS and smartphones.

If you were looking for my other websites at f2fw.com, or mrdthrift.com, then you are at the right place. Those domains now redirect here to ddavidd.com until further notice. For my own records, f2fw.com to was transferred as a secondary domain to ddavidd.com for redirect on Friday, October 14th, 2022 @ 11:56 AM CST. I do not remember when I transferred mrdthrift.com as a redirect to this site. This info only to remain in this spot until I find time to organize it properly in another place, perhaps a new domains page.

New Hobbies & Collections Photo Journal

My new publication called Hobbies & Collections will give you an up to date look at what is keeping me busy the most. Click here to read it on Issuu. This is supposed to be frequently updated, but I haven’t had time to do that in awhile. I will get back to working on this journal as soon as possible. I will also move it off of the Issuu platform and make it available for download only here on my website. Stay tuned.

SPOTIFY LIFE – My Spotify listening journal is being put together so that I can publish it here on site. Look for it soon. – UPDATE – I’ve misplaced my list. This is on hiatus until I can find it and edit for publishing.

My name is David Thrift, and I reside in Southeast Alabama. My primary interests are digital art, content creation, crafting, curating content, music, outdoor photography, and reading. My primary focus in outdoor photography is photographing the scenery around West Point Lake in Alabama and Georgia.
