This is page 4 of Day Trip 001 photography at West Point Lake by David Thrift.
The following gallery of images is a thumbnail gallery of photos I took at West Point Lake on Tuesday, January 31st, 2023. There are over 3,000 photos in this gallery from the following locations around the lake: West Overlook Viewpoint, Rocky Point Park, Veasey Creek Park, Anderson Park, and Dam Road (the highway that goes over West Point Lake Dam). These photos go from a very foggy and wet morning, to a beautiful sunny day before sunset. Why thumbnails instead of larger images? It’s because of the number of images taken during this day trip, I wanted to post the full haul of photos I came home with that day while taking up as minimal space as possible on my website, and because these photos will be made into photo ebooks which will contain full size images on each page. So with this gallery, you get a preview of the upcoming ebooks, and I don’t risk posting high quality images of my work on this project. Please enjoy the gallery.
Below you can find all the links you need to browse through my current available galleries. This gallery project is new, so the available photos to browse is currently limited. Podcast Spotlights (in planning coming soon):
Podcast Spotlights are a new thing I started doing in September 2020. I have to admit that I don’t listen to many podcasts myself personally. If I do listen to one, it’s usually the Armin Van Buuren’s ASOT (A State Of Trance) podcast. My Podcast Spotlights are a way for me to connect with more favorite Podcasts, while also highlighting some that you may enjoy. See the list below of the current Podcast Spotlights. UPDATE: Apparently I deleted the posts for this segment of my website. Perhaps I had a change of focus. Maybe I’ll bring the spotlights back at some point.
