In April 2022 I renovated my website here at ddavidd.com with a new template and layout. In doing so, I added a section to the website where I could feature YouTube videos from other content creators that I thought were interesting or useful.
This list has been created so that I can provide a listing of all the videos I’ve featured on the front page (and other pages) of my website for archiving purposes.
How to Start With A Blank Design In WordPress (Blank Canvas Theme) – It’s a short video, and the video creator basically demonstrates how to install a WordPress theme. In this case it’s the Blank Canvas WordPress block theme. If you already know how to install a WordPress theme, then this video won’t really tell you anything. This was the first video I featured in this featured video series. What made it significant to me in April 2022, was that I use the Blank Canvas template with my own custom modifications. 1st RECORDING OF: What’s Love Got To Do With It – Bucks Fizz (1984) – [link] – Did you know that Tina Turner’s song, What’s Love Got To Do With It was first offered to a British music group called Bucks Fizz? Yeah I didn’t either until I discovered this during the week of Monday, August 1st, 2022. You can hear the Bucks Fizz version above. It’s my understanding that Bucks Fizz didn’t release the song as their own, but was included on a later album release, perhaps a compilation (I’m not sure). You can get more into it if you like with other videos on Youtube, and on Google. Featured on Thursday, August 4th, 2022 @ 1:40 AM CST.
